One alteration to the Star Wars George Lucas should make
When the Star Wars trilogy was re-released with ehanced special effects, many of the hardcore fans weren't pleased. When Lucas went back to Return of the Jedi and replaced the original Anakin Skywalker actor with Hayden Christensen, diehards were irate. But change isn't always bad, not even in the Star Wars series. While others may not share my relaxed and accepting views of the enhanced special effects, I think there is one change that we can all agree should be made.
I am of course talking about going back to Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and replacing the puppet Yoda with the computer-generated imagery (CGI) version of Yoda from Episodes II and III. Out of all six Star Wars movies, this was the one thing that bothered me the most. Why? Because the Yoda puppet in Episode I looked absolutely NOTHING like the Yoda from Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. I literally cannot comprehend how they went ahead and made and released that movie with Yoda looking so off. Didn't anyone notice? It's not even close! I give you three pictures on why this must be done:

CGI Yoda:

What. The. Fuck. It's awful. I don't know who the fuck that is, but it's not Yoda. There are obviously some subtle differences between the CGI Yoda and original Yoda, but most of these can reasonably be attributed to his deteriorating health by Episodes V and VI. But the Yoda from Episode I is not Yoda at all. It's an impostor. I know damn well that Lucas' guys are top of the line when it comes to special effects these days, and if anyone can do this, they can.
Lucas, you've never been one to shy away from change. Please make the one that should be made.
