What is my generation's obsession with sex? Why do I seem like the only one not doing it? While I like to joke that I'm "involuntarily abstinent", I don't think I would be having sex even if I had the opportunities. There are two pregnant girls in my six classes over the course of the school day, many more I've seen in the halls, and one I know who's dropped out this year. I believe we must be the stupidest generation ever. These people are ruining their lives, and at such a young age. That alone is reason enough not to have sex for me, not to mention I truly believe we are too young for it.
You'd think that it'd be the guys who are all about sex, but it's not. It's the girls just as much so. Most girls put out way too easy. They don't have any respect for themselves, and the guys don't have any respect for them, either. I think the fact that I wouldn't have sex would end any relationships I might have. I talk to these girls from school, and I can't believe they are the way they are. To give you an idea, I shall mention a conversation I had with a girl, a beautiful girl I might add, this week. I was talking to her about wanting a girlfriend, and she asked me if it was for the sex. You could tell that she assumed it was. I truthfully told her it wasn't; that I wouldn't even have sex if I could. Then came the astounding reply from her. She said something to the effect of, "Why would you want a girlfriend if you weren't having sex?" The fact that a teenage girl would think this way is just sickening and sad. This generation is fucked up; so many of them are going nowhere, and they either don't realize it or simply don't care. These kids don't seem to care about other people or morals. Most of them are small-minded and obtuse.
It's hard to have any sympathy for these girls that are pregnant, considering the reason they are in that state is because they are stupid and immature. Then they lie to themselves, putting them in a state of denial, trying to justify their current position.
I guess what I'm trying to say is this: stop being so fucking stupid, people. You are ruining your lives, you are ruining society, and you are ruining your futures. You know, it's a shame hardly anyone will see this; it would be of great use to the aforementioned people in this post. I don't know why I bother writing this. Any of the people I'm referring to with this post, even if they did stumble across this site and this entry, most likely wouldn't change their foolish ways because of me. And to think, these people look down on ME! But that doesn't disturb me one bit, ten years from now, I'll probably be far better off.
