So... Ray Charles died. That sucks dude, seriously. He kicked ass. He was definitely one of the top two blind black musicians, along with Stevie Wonder.... granted, those are the only two blind black musicians I know of, but I'm sure if I knew more, Ray Charles would still be near the top. When I heard about his passing, I knew it was a very sad thing. That was the good side of me. But of course, my bad side went right to work making possible jokes. It's just too easy. It's easy enough making jokes about blind people when they're alive, but when they die, it just gives you more material to work with. So I began thinking, and this is where my mind wandered...
So Ray Charles is blind. He died. So he "went towards the light" as they say. But this is my question: How did he know to go towards the light? Could he see the light? Was his vision restored immediately after death, or did he have to wait for his vision to be restored later, and perhaps they have a "follow the high-pitch repetitive beep" in place of the light. Or maybe nothing happened to him after he died because there's probably no afterlife and Christianity is probably bullshit. Yeah, probably the latter.
